Growing up in Erie, Jason learned the value of hard work mixing concrete and tearing off shingles every summer for his grandfather.  It instilled in him superior work ethic and passion for entrepreneurship. While he was in college at Indiana University of PA, he would drive home on weekends and breaks, mowing lawns and learning as much construction knowledge as possible.  Shortly after graduation he started his own roofing company. He knew early on that he wanted to help people, and construction was how he was going to do it.

Elwell construction has been a staple throughout the Erie community with residential and commercial roofing projects, interior and exterior renovations, and snow plowing services. Jason and his wife, Kelly, have a shared passion for construction and design as highlighted in their 1929 English tutor home in Erie’s historic Glenwood area. They have expanded the thriving business to include purchasing, renovating & selling or renting local properties. Adding realtor to his toolbelt, just made sense. In their free time they enjoy hunting, camping, gardening, antiquing, home projects, and spending time with their 5 kids and family.
